Lesli Girard

Lesli Girard has been with Families Together, Inc., the federally designated Parent Training and Information (PTI) and Family-to-Family Health Care Center for Kansas, since 1988 and is currently the Project Director of the PTI grant provided by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP).  Lesli is also a Program Director for the organization and oversees the work that is done in collaboration with the Kansas State Department of Education, as well as the organization’s on the State Personnel and Development Grant (SPDG).   Families Together serves families that include sons and daughters with disabilities and/or special health care needs.   Lesli represents the organization on the Kansas Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) and the State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC).  Lesli brings her expertise as a parent, grandparent, and volunteer education advocate to all of her work and is passionate about Families Together’s mission to Encourage, Educate, and Empower Kansas families.
