Dr. Dan Davidson is the Partner of Parent and Caregiver Support at Kaibab Behavioral Services in Flagstaff, AZ. Dan has a wealth of experience conducting behavior training and consultation with families, schools, providers supporting persons with behavioral health needs and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has worked in K-12 education, residential services, behavioral health services, universities, and in private consulting. He has served the field for almost 40 years as a direct support provider, school principal, residential services administrator, consultant, university instructor, advocate, behavioral health professional, and policy shaper. Throughout his career, he has been a tireless advocate for people who behave in challenging ways, as well as the parents, teachers and other caregivers, who do their best trying to support them.
Through his advocacy, his consultation, his students, and his example, Dan has translated research into practice for many parents, staff, teachers and other caregivers. He has helped them improve lives, reduce challenging behavior, strengthen relationships, and live up to their own highest expectations.
